OOC: this is an x-men thread that takes place some time after rogue learns to control her power. you can use existing mutants or make your own but if you make your own you must start with them coming to the school for the first time. so far the only mutant taken is the one i am playing, Gambit. you can be either good, bad, or neutral so don't think you have to be on a certain side. also if you make your own character you must have an OOC discription of them on your post.

IC: as I leaned against a tree on the grounds of the instatute, I couldn't help but notice that nothing had happened lately. It was as if the world had forgotten that mutants exist.

"Now dis is da life. Just me, a deck o' cards, and da wind in my face. It doesn't get much betta den dis." I say to myself as i let out a relaxing sigh.

After a while, I decide to pass the time by working out and sharpening my skills(as if I needed it).

As I darted across the wide streches of land that the instatute covered I preformed a rondom series of jumps, dodges, dashes, and attacks.

*sure 'as been quite 'round 'ere lately. in fact I 'aven't seen any of the others all day* I think to myself as I run through my exersises.
