www.

Ooopsie. You know right under my sig line, where the little icon buttons are for pm, email, and crap? Well, there isn't one for 'crap', but there should be. ;)

There is a www icon.

Does that help?

Thank you. I just know that Storm and some others wished to see it, so I figured I'd post it.

Off to school to be testied. :D

Impressive.

Especially the Photo Art piece..

wow so cool ... i love the "bamboo cottage by willow river" that maybe is my fav but i like something about all of the paintings

portrait of a beautiful lady is cool too .... me think it looks like somebody on lit :)

i think artistic people are so cool ... they tap into that beautiful part of their souls and make "art" which brightons up the world ... things would be dull without people like you starfish :)

Excellent Starfish

From Professor Riffness, himself. Good job!

Congrat's on your website Starfish! It looks very proffessional, and cool. :)

Maybe if you did lot's of portraits of nude forms you could link to Lit? Just throwing that out there.... You might have to do personal favors for Laurel though....
:p

Very nifty! ( I especially like your nature photo's)

They are all great! My favourites are the garden watercolours. :)

Starfish, thanks for sharing. These are wonderful. So bright and happy. Could you tell a bit about the Asian lettering you use?

Very cool Fish...Very cool to see the pics of the others also.......;)

Hope you testies were fun. Mine are

:D

OMG! I am so flattered. This feedback is so nice.

Almost too nice. I feel like I am being set up. ;) j/k

About the Chinese Caligraphy.....

The first small icon, which should also be in my sig line? says "Starfish".

The writing on the side simply says....

"May the force be with you". :D

I don't know when I'll get more stuff up, but I am currently working on a beautiful Architectural scape that will be done in a few days, and I will post it on the site. If you really like this stuff, I do reccomend to check back now and then. I will be adding in all of the time, because this is now going to be my chosen profession. (I am still in school, and will be for three more years so I sadly can't paint full time, but I will learn a lot of new stuff that will help me out.)

Thank you all for the input and encouragement. I am really happy with my choice to do this and I think I will be most fullfilled.

:D

I am so flattered by this too, and I can prolly work out doing something else for you, but that is a series set that I made and gave to David for Christmas. The writing is a sort of love poem I wrote to him.
I cannot sell it, for it isn't mine to sell.

The writing says:
All living things have the ability to fall in love
Precious your heart is to me
Perserverance to the challenges of life
brings hapiness, love and prosperity.
I wish to achieve long life with you
Thank you my soul mate
Yours Always, Starfish

As nice and cute as you are Storm, I think this poem isn's fully appropriate. ;)

Wow!

Very nice site, Starfish. I especially liked Spring Mountain Scene.:)

I want to jump in your skin and feel the emotions as your wrists moves with each stroke of the brush. You're talented.
I can't make up my mind as to my favorite. I am partial to anything dealing with sunflowers, though.
Lovely work, starfish!

Thank you so much, sisters.

I really think that I would love to share something with you.

When I paint, I see layers......
I see the layers of life that is within all living things. I work in layers. I fill in the voids with the love of color, and of all things in life that I feel draw to, which is not limited to a single genre.

Anything peripheral to my mind's eye, in a given composition gets thrown in, even if it isn't really there. It is all just an outward expression of what is needed to support the life of the image.

Sometimes I don't know what I feel when I paint. It does fluctuate based on what direction the work is going in, and what I am discovering. I try to soak it up, but it is even a problem to be fully conscious of my feelings when I actually balance my chi and become entranced by the act, while painting. This happens when I have no disturbances, which , with 6 bitchy cats, doesn't come as much as I'd like.

I hope that this helps those of you who desire to know the 'feelings' I experiance. I doubt it really says it all, but I am not in the greatest of health right now, so I am sorry.

Oh, and for anyone who like the watercolors, I found a watercolor I did in 96 up in a closet, here in the house, and added it to the gallery. It is titled "Amarylis Cart" and it is sandwiched in chronologically, on the WC page.
