-35 degrees last night and today. What the hell is going on here? Enough winter please - it's time for some warmth.

3 days of gloom & rain have cooled it off here, I actually turned off the fans & put a t-shirt on a little while ago :D

During the day we can sun ourselves at the beach, at night I'll keep you warm ;)

Lol!

Be careful what you wish for....I spent last night melting from the heat!

I love heat. I rarely even bitch when it's muggy and humid. Mostly because I know that summer doesn't last near long enough, and soon we'll be back to this level of miserableness.

I want to sun myself on a beach again - or at a pool, or on my front lawn for god's sake.

*whines*

Max...keep that one.

Hang in there!

For the past month here in the lower 48, the Canadian Geese have been flocking back to the North, and tree frogs have been singing at sunset. The flowers are starting to bloom, and sunglass wearing inhabitants abound!
Spring's on the way, think +25 degrees! :D

I wore shorts yesterday and went kite flying with my kids in the park. What are you talking about?

old johnny carson line..

"may your daughter be a teller in a sperm bank"

bbrrrr.....
:D

If you can work it....

Fly round trip to San Diego, sunbathe at Black's Beach (bathing suit optional) next to La Jolla.
Spend a few days covered in baking grease, and fly home recharged!
At the very least, spend a couple of days at the electric beach (suntan booth).
You'd be suprised how a base tan can improve your mental outlook, plus when the good weather arrives, you don't look like a 3rd degree burn victim! :D

More reasons for getting under the blankets... that's all.

Come on, it's winter in Canada, what'd you expect? :p

Having said that, it has been a tad frosty this year... I love all 4 seasons, but I'm ready for the next one....

Hey stranger! You must be shivering just like me! How's life in the big city?

DCL - I hate you. :)

James - it was your beach I was referring to.

LC - I could tan 27 times and still look like a 3rd degree burn victim after my first exposure to real sun. But the rest of your idea sounds wonderful.

Max - that doesn't make me feel better, but your ass is perking me up a bit.

Peachy...ditto. :D

I'm out of the big city now... thank god. A little west and north now.

Life's good.. settling down a little, finally. I haven't had much time for here lately.
