Writing Streak April 2019

I seem to be on a streak for the moment. I finished chapters on two stories and I'm closing in on finishing another. I like this streak. I hope I haven't jinxed myself by writing about it. Happy Early Easter everyone

I seem to be on a streak for the moment. I finished chapters on two stories and I'm closing in on finishing another. I like this streak. I hope I haven't jinxed myself by writing about it. Happy Early Easter everyone

I had a streak a few months back. Fun while it lasted. Now I await the voices in my head re-awakening and streaking again. Alas, I can't streak the neighborhood -- bad knee. I shouldn't streak the grandkids this Easter either. They'd likely never recover.

Creative streaks are weird and unpredictable. I published 9 stories in April and May 2017. I wrote all but the first one entirely within those two months. I haven't come close to matching that level of productivity since. In the two years since I've written and published an additional 11 stories -- not quite one every two months. I'm trying to get on a faster track but I can't seem to write with the ease and un-self-consciousness that I did then.
