Writing showing as “New” but still pending?

So I’ve published two parts to a series I’m writing recently and both of these took just over approximately 24 hours to go from pending to published. However, my latest part has been showing under the pending section for over 3 days now and I’m not sure if this is a glitch but it no longer says its being reviewed but instead says “Today in BDSM stories” however it’s not on that section at all and is still showing under pending? I’m not entirely sure if I’m missing something here or if it’s a glitch but could someone possibly clarify for me?

There should also be a date. On that day, at somewhere around one-two a.m. EST the story should go live.

Laurel pre-approves a lot of stories to go live in the future.

Just realized you said "today" so it will go live in a few hours.

Thank you very much for your speedy response. I may shorten the series by merging a few chapters together instead of submitting them separately. I was just worried about overwhelming readers with too much in each part... if that’s even a thing.

Depends upon how long they are, and whether combining them interrupts the natural pattern of breaks you put in there when writing them.

Around how many words per submission are we talking about?

Approximately 3,000 to 5,000 words each part.
I’m extremely new to writing so when I originally wrote this I had each part being a different day as I’m not the best at blending things like this together. Pacing is something I’m currently unfamiliar with so I thought it would be easier to write in separate parts.

Therefore, maybe it’s best to just leave it as originally intended and wait out some of these lengthy publishing queues?

3-5k is pretty short. Well, 3 is. The five is within the lower range of what I call the "sweet spot" of Lit reader attention span.

If you wrote them with each submission representing a day, it may be best to publish them that way. I can tell you that combining 2 submissions of that size shouldn't be outside the average Lit reader's attention span. Only you can determine if the story flows properly when you combine parts, though.
