Do you incorporate your own personal sexual fantasies into your writing/stories or not?

My writing is often a means to explore my own fantasies. That said, just cause I write it doesn't mean I'd do it. Readers on this site are bad about confusing fiction/reality. I'm a fiction writer ;)

But writing is a safe and harmless way to explore out a fantasy, or even make it freakier than you'd ever venture IRL. And that goes for all my writing. I've never been a middle aged man or killed someone or been in a mental institution, either, but they are all things I've written about. :):rose:

I like the way you worded your comment. I couldn't have said it better myself. My stories draw heavily of my bisexual past, mostly gay experiences when I was toiling with my sexual confusion. Just because I write about it doesn't mean I want to backtrack the experiences in real life. Thank you for the insightful comment. :)

Fantasies? All the time. My reality weaves in and out of my writing, my fantasies even more so. This is where i remember the things I didn't do, and dream of the things I did; where truth and imagination collide. My best writing (in my own mind, at least, and for those that agree with me) is where I turn myself on or bring a tear to my eye, and do the same for my readers. I couldn't conjure those reactions if the words weren't coming from deep desire.

The short answer is "Yes", but it's incomplete. Of course I incorporate my fantasies into my writing, but quite often my stories and my characters take on a life of their own, leading me into area that I don't fantasize about and even into areas I'm uncomfortable with.

Writing is a great outlet for my active imagination. I've always enjoyed the more fictional works of sex. Hentai, monsters, etc.

I don't think my writing would stand a chance at being good if I didn't. Like, if I tried to write about mature people getting it on, it would be unconvincing and not at all hot.

I have two kinds of sexual fantasies; those that are deeply ingrained in me and originated in my early adolescents and those that I acquired through experience.

I expect that we all have fantasies of the first type and that some of us have fantasies of the second type. Explicitly? You can't even talk about the first type.

My stories are based on both.

I find it hard to write about things I haven't experienced or at least fantasied about. That's one reason I have NOT written any gay male stories.

My own sexual fantasies are pretty tame. I write to fulfill the fantasies of others.
