Writing in bed? No, I'll never get any sleep. When my brain is fully functional and I hit the keyboard, nothing else can happen.

I will go over story ideas in my head, especially if I had just written myself into a corner, if a good idea pops up I'll note it on an iPad but that's it.

Do you ever write in bed? Easier nowadays than with pen and paper I guess.

It depends on what you mean by "write," doesn't it? I write my stories in bed, inside my head, with one hand on my breast and the other... elsewhere. After this process, I have the story in essentially finished form. The trick is to remember enough of it to convey its plot and impact when I next sit down to a keyboard.

Writing on a phone? I can't do it... I'm too old, I suppose. And now I'm mostly dictating my texts and memos and such, and can't put a story into words that way.
