writing group

A little more than a year ago i was involved in a small, intimate little group of writers, mainly BDSM. There were weekly and/or bi-weekly writing challenges for either stories, or poetry, or flashers. The writer that got the first finished piece posted to the group was the one that issued the next challege. There were also at times, individual challenges given as well. My point i suppose, is does anyone know about a little group like this, or would anyone be interested in one. It was fun and it helped to improve my own writing, as well as promoted friendship, collaboration on projects, and a learning environment for the lifestyle. It doesn't have to be made up of writers of only BDSM, but just writers in general that would be interested.

There is the discussion board here.

Several months ago I attempted to start a writing group, but was only able to get about 6 contributers. You really need around twenty with the habits of writer types.

I raise my hand as one of the guilty ones who fall off the earth when I'm in writing mode.

Thank you...but it is more than discussion that i am seeking...so i shall take my search elsewhere...it is for fun, for challenge, and to even write when you don't think you can...it is for growth...but i appreciate you and svenskaflicka for responding...

Those kind of "challenges" sound great for a group. I am in the process myself of starting a group for writers of Erotica. I write myself mainly in the bdsm genre. But the idea sounds great!

I have yet started to really advertise this group as I am caught in a busy time right now....but I will right away. I have set the group up on yahoo groups for the time being....it is the second link on my signature. I really do want an "interactive" group and love the idea you had earlier. I hope it works out that way *smiles*
