Hello, how do you properly add in a dream into the story you are writing so the reader can easily see it as a dream versus the main story you are trying to get across?

Thanks for any help.

If it's long, it's usually separated off with section dividers (in a manuscript, usually "* * * *" centered, with extra line feeds above and below.

If it's short, it can be put in italics, with extra line feeds above and below.

I did mine all in italics only it's not short, and I'm sure it looks horrible.

Thank you for the feedback. I will try for both and see which I think looks better. The dream is rather long so I may need to make sure it is distinct.

Do be aware that publishers consider italics unreadable in large chunks. They may know what they're talking about.

Moderation. More than one Literotica frame can make your head go silly.

The first page of my very first submission was accidentally done all in italics by the site editors, and it's enough to make your brain silly after a few minutes.
