The thread will be entitled "Test of Minds"

total number of writers needed are six

as of now there are one male and four female positions open

please PM me for details, I'll return with the plot and the hoped for characters and motives.

I'll continue to "raise" this OOC thread until the characters are filled and the story begins.

Allow me...

to raise your thread, Bart. You know how I like to help with errections.

;)

Mmmmmm

it is help from you that keeps me returning for more and more and more my sweet and erotic Mistress....

Thank You:kiss:

The characters are ALMOST all spoken for

and I must thank everyone and apologize to those that weren't able to write with us...spiritual_love, I am sorry but others had replied ahead of you....perhaps as the thread develops we'll introduce more characters as it progresses?

Please read along and enjoy it with us:)

The cast and writers are as follows...

The Characters:

Doctor Phil Dreveau............Lady Kit

Raven Trevain................Destiny

Gregory Palance..................Rhovan

Karen Tesoro...................Lay Z Butterfly

Sara Townsend..............OPEN

Raymond Grisham...................Black Bart

Again I want to thank everyone for the overwhelming response. I’ll leave the descriptions of each character to the writer as they post in the main thread and encourage everyone to use either this thread or PM’s to communicate.

Let’s have fun! See you at……… “A Test of Minds”

Rhovan...Insane...Nah. I just can't picture that!

:D

Bart, I'm sorry I was too late. Looks like fun.

Lady Kit, the name "Dr. Phil" made me laugh. Unfortunately, I had a mouthful of Diet Coke at the time and it really stings when it gets into the sinuses.

Destiny, watch out for the guy with the gaping hole in his head - he claims it's a tattoo, but I think we all know better.

Would I be under the right assumption that there MIGHT be staff quarters on the grounds?

I know in remote hospitals they sometimes do have those types of cottages.

Sounds like a reasonable assumption to me, Destiny. I wouldn't think there would be a city, or even much of a town near the institute.

Thanks for thinking of it. Gads but I love writers that plan!

:D

*beams in pride*

Well I figured since it was going to be that remote especially being as it is a hospital, the nearest town would prolly be at least 40 or so miles...Would more then likely provide cottages and more then likely a house for the doctors.:) and staff

Ladies and Gent...ok,ok...you too Rhovan;)

This thread and the writers in it are simply....amazing

I can see direction in it...the characters developing, the tone of each so.....(shudders) passionately evil.....

I'm so delighted!

Fair warning...I'm going to stir the pot frequently...tossing in some positively evil things if you'll let me...and work with me and each other on them.

Til then?

My praises to what we've all done

And prayers it continues!

Destiny?

You're right about the Institute

It's a reworked federal building, the security and structure of it all left over from the nuclear threat and "commie" days, now updated by your local security officer...

One important factor though?

Everything is located within the one huge structure, there are no outside quarters...only a clearing of grass a half mile wide and then that endless forest...

I love your posts!

discontinuing as Sara

i am taking myself off the thread A Test of Minds as Sara. Please write her out of it, so as to make it more useful and easier for the other characters in the thread to continue.

Luck and bliss to all,
belle

As said repeatedly in PM's you're an excellent writer, Belle...

You'll be missed in the thread because of that skill but I look forward to writing with you in the future...

My Best Wishes to you in all your endeavors.:rose: :rose:

I, for one, shall miss you Belle. Your character is neither a hindrance or a problem and I really like what you've written so far.

Please reconsider.

~Lay Z~

Belle,

I'm sorry to see you go! Its hard to get things moving in a thread with several characters and a complicated story line, won't you reconsider? Once everyone has found their rhythm things should move along at a quicker pace.

Kit

Belle has explained her reasons in private to me and I can understand her shyness, so though we'll all miss her I wish her again the best as she leaves us.'

Shereads has volunteered to step in and round off our numbers as a new character, we'll be "retiring" Sara in the meanwhile...

And thank you for the opportunity. What a relief, after all of these dirty stories, to finally meet others who want to talk about their passion for gardening and making homemade potpourri!

I can hardly wait to get started! Trowel at the ready, packet of seeds in my apron pocket, here I come...

Welcome SR! Yep we're all about compost and spring bulbs here. Pull up a potting bench and dig right in. Don't worry about fertilizer, we've got loads of the stuff to spread around. *grins*

Des, I thought "Raymond Grisham" was a patient at the "Gresham Psychiatric Institute"

Bart, Whats the ruling from the head office?

And is it a coincidence that Gresham Institute's newest inmate is named Grisham?

(cue harpsichord)

Welcome shereads and my compliments!

With your first post you took the already eery tone of the thread to the second level of creepy...A very good thing in my book!

As for the Grishem/Gresham thing? ....Perhaps you're right....perhaps you're not;)

It is starting to sound like a mystery, isn't it.

ok,ok...popped back to clarify slightly...

Ray's last name and the Institute does bear a certain....similarity, but at this level of the thread it isn't an issue...

Yet:D

But then the reporter has only arrived, hasn't she?

*Holds her head*

I am sooo confuzzled!

I wasn't trying to make anyone mad....I was wondering if I had posted wrong...cause I was calling him Grisham...But he is a luatic anyway:p

Begins to sing crazytrain.

No ones mad, like you I think we're just confuzzled, Des. It seems to be a plot. Bart has an odd sense of humor. I think he may be sporting with us. *grins*

It could also have been a typo. But hey, great books have turned on less!

"Call me Izzy" was going to be the opening line of a lighthearted guide to sportfishing...
