Writers, Looking For An Editor?

Just wanted to announce my availability to edit manuscripts.

As far as this site goes, I will do most categories except incest/taboo and rape/non consent. I will not charge for short stories. Novellas and full length novels or multi-chapter stories I will charge. How much depends on the story.

If you have a long manuscript that you are planning to publish, I am going to charge you. However I will not charge by the word as most editors do these days and instead charge a flat fee.

I will treat your manuscript with the utmost discretion and will do quality work.

I will only edit for punctuation, sentence structure, grammar and spelling.

Please PM me if you are interested or send me feedback through one of my stories.

Also, as far as charging goes -- are you offering to edit (for charge) a long story that someone wants to try to publish for pay? Because I don't see why anyone would pay for editing on a story they're going to put on a free site.

I don't really think that Literotica would condone having its site used as a conduit for paid editing of anything posted to this site.

Well you know the old saying, don't take sand to the beach.

It comes down to marketing. You market your product to the people who might need it most, right?

PS - 99.9 percent of the stories on Lit are short stories anyway so they stand a good chance of getting free work out of me. And if the good people at Lit want to remove my ad, so be it.

LOL, that was a nice read, but, believe me, in the soppy stakes, it was like hard candy compared to my chocolate sauce romances. (I don't mean my werewolf stories, they have an editor so they are tight, but the romances I really like to write are so full of run-ons they are all planning to elope together!)

Pity they passed on the condom, I could've reviewed it on my blog otherwise.

If you don't mind my asking, what made the difference in your mind? I'm not really sure why I wrote it that way other than the fact that they were "making love" not just "having sex" or "fucking."

So if Mercedes does get pregnant (and I haven't decided yet), the baby will be born to two parents who love each other. All children should be so lucky.

If you want to have a look at my blog, though, you'll see it's aimed at a demographic who are infamously hopeless at safe sex. For dull educational reasons I've made a decision only to review safe sex stories on there. Yes, I know, I am very boring.
