I have a question about writers.literotica.com for those of you who also have a profile there.

WHY won't my password work? Isnt' it the same as the lit.com password? Or did I miss something.

I have a profile on there but I can't get into the site.

EXTREMELY annoying!!

Anyone have answers??

I'm not sure what you mean.

If you are at the site, literotica.com, you can log in and that takes you to the members part. Isn't that the only time you need a password?

Am always logged into lit.com. Whenever I try to go to writers.lit.com I get asked for my password. So I give the one for lit and it gets me no where. :(

I would love to check out the site further. I know what it's about. I'd just want to see it!

Try sending a PM to Laurel or Manu with your question, or wait until WeirdHarold answers it on here.

I had the same problem and so far the only answer I've gotten is that the site isn't up yet. I'm not sure if that's true or not but that's what I was told in a previous thread. If you find out differently I would appreciate it if you let me know.

Will do.

Thanks for your contribution snooper. Think I'll try that.

I'd have given the same answer.

The following is pure speculation and may not be the problem, but it IS one thing that could cause the problem.

The last word I had on Writers.Literotica is that it is still a work in progress and I've never tried to get into it. The problem sounds like a cookie problem -- like the cookies aren't working on that part of the site.

If you use different "zones" in your internet security settings, "writers.literotica" is in a different "zone" from "Literotica" I have "*.Literotica.*" in my "trusted" zone where I allow cookies because of a past probblem with accessing "Literotica.org" and "manu.literotica.com." I haven't had any problems with cookies or passwords isnce I set that "site" in the "Trusted Zone."

Dang as a small publisher, I have tried to access it to see what writers are interested in publishing and for a very long time now I have gotten the same pop up asking for a password.

I have email Literotica twice asking about it with no response. I will be very interested to hear the answer to this thread/question.

And here I thought I was the only one! I think I'll do the PM thing and see what happens.

btw, how'd you get started as a small publisher? It's what I want to do. It's horribly difficult to get published in Canada, especially for those who don't exactly fit public demand. Those that need a market created for them almost.

Just curious...

I'm puzzled...

I just logged in to writers with no problem at all.

I went to my main Literotica Control Panel and went through the link "writers" to the left.

I could review my sample stories etc.

I have no idea why I can and you can't.

That's not the part we are talking about. We mean the actual writers.literotica.com site. The password doesn't work. I can see my samples and profile too but that's it.

PM'ed Manu, just waiting for a response.

Added the link for the thread, so hopefully he'll answer all of us.
