A rough idea of the kind of storylines that swing. I seem to be wanting to write a lot of the young man falls for grandma thing (know idea why; shit perculates weirdly in my subconscious).

Your two basic themes are "man falls in love again and rediscovers feelings he thought were long gone" or "man falls in love again and wonders if it is worth the effort." It works the same for women.

Intergenerational relationships do not really belong in the mature category, although I am not sure if there is better one.

I rather like the "Woman in her Forties seduces young man and teaches him how to please a woman." You can get some pretty hot sex going and most people like the idea of a cougar a lot more than they like the "dirty old man" concept.

The other possibility is the "second time around" idea, where people in their forties or fifties find each other. This can make a very sweet story, as long as you don't make fun of them.

I don't think cougar stories are a fit for Mature--I'd think they'd tick off readers coming there for stories where the lovers weren't young. And this is what I'd think most readers going to Mature would expect to find there.

Cougar stories go over just fine in my experience -- surprisingly well, actually. I think the readership has a far different opinion of what the category should be than authors do.

Haven't tested it with the opposite gender on the ages, though I do have one in EC to compare it to when I do.

Thanks for the advise guys. This just seems to be a theme I am exploring lately, the grandma/young man thing. I suspect, as you guys would know, it will pass and I'll be writing about other stuff soon enough.
