In the story, does your wife know you want to show/share her? Does the friend? Do you? Or does it happen behind your back? There's reluctance... but one of you three is probably going to be the one to drive it. Though it'd be interesting to try to craft a narrative where none of the three are angling for it, yet it happens anyway.

I can see a sequence where...

1 - the friend sees a sneak peak by mistake... maybe walks in while she's in the bathroom, stepping out of the shower. Or, you're flipping through to how your friend some pictures from last weekend, forgetting that you took one of your wife why she was naked napping on top of the bed. She looked so perfect you just had to.
2 - the friend now sees your wife totally differently... can't get that image out of his head and wants more. Or, he comments on it to you, you're embarrassed and snatch the phone away, but... kind of like how impressed he is with your wife. It makes you proud (and oddly hard), and you hand the phone back, but make him "promise" not to look at that picture again... or any of the others like it.
3a - once the slippery slope starts, it keeps going. Maybe, your wife is totally unaware, but, now your friend keeps trying to find chances to catch glimpses "by mistake". You find it more and more a turn-on and an ego boost, so you start helping
3b - or, you tell your wife about the mistake with the photo... to warn her in case your friend makes a joke about it or acts strange. She's embarrassed and mad at first, but... then... starts asking, "Well, what'd he say? You said he wanted to see more? Did he like it? What did he like?" and you're surprised that she's in the mood for some hot sex.
