I just finished watching "Recon 2020" and am now watching Dracula 3000.

Both of them are absolutely terrible.

In other words they are fun to watch.

flash gordon needed to be done by MST3K....that's all I'm saying!

You can add The Bats (the recent one with Xenia), The Plague and Larva. Although Larva was one of the fun, bad ones. The other two were just shit.

I see I'm not the only one watching the Sci-Fi channel tonight . . .

At least the X-files are on now

You know, I would LOVE to see a Flash Gordon remake!

Although the original was great. Queen's music made that movie.

Best bad movie I've seen recently was Godzillla: Final Wars.

Not only was it good Godzilla movie, but it ripped off every good SF movie for the last 30 years.

The real Godzilla takes down the American Godzilla in five seconds flat. You know the movie, the one with Matthew Broderick and Jean Reno.

It ripped off Star Wars, Independence Day, The Matrix, The Art of War.

Damn it was fun! :D

Favourite line? "Empty your guns. There's no turning back."

Anyone remember a prime-time soap opera a few years back that was so incredibly bad as to make normal soap operas look like real life?

As I recall, it was about a rich family, with Yasmine Bleeth as the adulterous wife, Jack Wagner as the flashy stud, and Casper Van Dien as the son of the 'old man.'

I think the intent behind the show was to 'push the envelope' of bad TV.

But I can't remember the name of it. It was only on for seven or eight episodes, I think.

"A dirty shame". There's NOTHING about this movie that makes up for its terrible plot, casting, and acting.

slyc,

i think it was called 'The Titans' --this is based on the Jack Wagner bio at wikipedia.

a new bad one i just saw part of was 'attack force', with steven seagal. rather incoherent, sci fi themes (an addictive drug that gives superhuman strength is to be put--for some unknown reason-- into a city's water supply)/

i guess he hasn't made a good one for some time.

The only good one Segal ever made was Above The Law.

Oh, and thanks for the name. 'The Titans' it was.

Now I'm off to watch the latest Lou Diamond Philips sci-fi romp
