Actually, no it doesn't - at least not for me. Think of it as the difference between going with a clean shaven face and as growing a beard. During the winter I usually grow a beard then shave it off in the spring, and I am always noticing the difference one way or the other, and not much clothing rubs against my face.

You do get used to it a little, but for some things, like sex, it is much more stimulating to be clean shaven. It is just such a hassle.

keep shaving..it's worth it

As a woman, I have shaved under my arms and my legs sporadically over the years. After the birth of my son six years ago, I also started to shave my pudenda.

The ultra sensitivity remains, the feeling of my lips moving together just can't be matched when there is hair. I also have an open feeling that is very naughty and very pleasurable. I am much more sensual without it in most aspects of my life.

The itch becomes less bothersome the longer you shave or dipilitate - I do let it grow back each year for my annual exam because somethings are private and I choose with whom I want to share, my physician not being one of them. The itch only lasts for about a week and then I return to just the smooth lips.

I am finding the hair is much more sparse each year, which could be related both to being a blonde and age, so there is less hair to manage.

I'll never go back to being haired.

The Stud shaves pretty much everything but the genital area. He likes to see his muscles. Yes, he's narcisstic and all that rot, but he's in the 400 pound club so I suppose he's rather earned it. Or maybe I have, he's got about a 300 dollar feed bill. *sighs*

KSMYBUTTONS, I wouldn't worry too much about letting it grow back for your annual. I had a concern about that too. My sis works for a large group of OB GYNs....she said over 40% of the women are completely shaved...so enjoy!
