It's a world of its own. We are Dixie, a southern state by all accounts, but very different. Where most of the south was settled by white English speaking protestants, we had predominately French and Spanish catholics. Still affects the culture today.

95 people in the middle of the American night? And everyone posting? Not bad. I post sometimes on another board where you can wait 3-6 days for a reply on about 5 current topics. It's a nice board, but I think I've had it -- Bright people and topics, but too slow, too few people, no real sense of dialogue going on for any extended period. Lit's amazing.
