I know that Laurel posted about this in another forum, but we haven't posted any site announcements for so long that I thought it might be fun:
There is currently an overloaded router in line between our server and the Internet. This should not be a problem to most of you most of the time - HOWEVER - it will cause a slowdown of the site for some of you some of the time. This is expected to be fixed before the weekend. I apologize for the problem, though I am happy to say that part of the cause of the problem is that the site is getting so many visitors. The bottom line is that we know about the problem and it's being worked on.
