This was put to me elsewhere also.
For me, it's a hard one to reply to.
I know I have occasionally been stirred enough to waken my husband for a little nookie if I've read a reply that is particularly sexy. I say occasionally because in preferring slower paced threads, it's hard to become aroused, and maintain it for what can be a couple of weeks between posts. It allows for the quality of the post to be admired, but not put to use.
I don't get off on my own ever because of an arousing post or posts. I'm just not a big masturbation fan frankly. And it for me crosses a personal trust between my husband and I. It would just be too much of an intimacy to act on the words of another man while I was alone.
As for whether a partner gets off on something I've written, while I really don't want to know, I can only suppose it has inspired moments between the occasional partner and his companion..or him alone. My personal ''rules'' can't apply to a writing partner, but I definitely don't' want to know about it beyond him finding it a good piece of writing.
I think given what we're writing it's a bit hypocritical to say it must never happen. It is erotica after all. If it's not written to arouse, to be enjoyed, then why write it? Just don't give me a paragraph about what you did to yourself, or someone else. TMI at it's best.
