I think it would be a bitch to moderate but it would be very cool.

Yes, provided that S&M depictions were allowed. Otherwise, you'd just get a bunch of pics of people tied up, and, let's face it, no matter how much you like bondage, that gets old after awhile. ;)

Is there a reason why they would be?

Why they wouldn't be, you mean? IIRC, they're not allowed in the regular Am Pic forum, but that may have changed since the last time I looked. ;)

I don't know how closely they follow their own guidelines over there, but I found this....

Am Pic Guidelines

"- Legally, we can allow soft nudity, but under current United States law, photographs (does not apply to non-photographic images) posted on this site may not contain "sexually explicit conduct", which the government defines as:

- Actual or simulated:
(A) sexual intercourse, including genital-genital, oral-genital, anal-genital, or oral-anal, whether between persons of the same or opposite sex;
(B) bestiality;
(C) masturbation;
(D) sadistic or masochistic abuse; or
(E) lascivious exhibition of the genitals or pubic area of any person."

I see a lot of A, C, and E over there. I guess some do get removed though in time.

Oh, I know. I just remember hearing about people complaining about their pics being removed after random crackdowns. Sorta takes the fun out of it, I think.

If you think that sucks ass do not vote for people who are not opposed to 2259.

They are getting much stricter over in Am. Pics. I don't know how well a genre specific forum would work and what type of legal liability it would present for Lit.

Hey! I represent that remark! =P

As to the initial question, sure, I'd love to see it. doubt it'll happen though. Too much chance of legal repercussions I'd guess.

Ah well, off to do more boring shit :D

I do know what you meant, and my feelings are utterly wrecked, you mean, mean person you.

:D

I'm going to have to say no since I eventually want to start up my own adult fetish entertainment site.

Say no to free porn. Pay me instead! :D :D

I say yes to some bondage picture so as not real crude. Some pictures can be sexy but some people can get carried away.

But whats crude and whats not. all in the eye of the beholder!

It's kind of silly to remove pics yet you can't go in one single AM PIC thread without getting your eyeball poked out with a cock av. What is it with those guys? It's just a dick.

I voted No for those reasons:

a) If you draw a line, where would it be?
Is it sufficient if the picture was made by someone who regularly writes here? Does it have to show something BDSM related? If there are no rules at all, how does it differ from the AM forum (see also b)?

b) How do you want to deal with the invaders?
If you post nude chicks, the horny net geeks will come and they will not just stay in the picture forum. They will much more realize that (female) PYLs have tits (and more), too and they will do their share in an attempt to get it. You will not have the nice secluded area, where those pics stay in the BDSM community and are only viewed and commented on by people from the community. And once here, they might realize that other parts are worth the investigation, too. I don't see a reason to give them any ideas.

c) Where should the content come from?
I assume most people who would like to publically share their pictures, already did. How many people would actually post or better: How many would post there but not in the AM? I also think that the threshold in posting a BDSM related picture is much higher than posting one which is not that much BDSM related - it's even more troublesome if you are under a morality clause.

Just the things that I can think off right now, most likely there are other objections.

I might add a different idea though:

We could make a (sticky) thread in the cafe for those with exhibitionist tendencies to post it there. Then people could request the pictures per PM and publically comment on them in the thread. This would generate more proper feedback about the actual interest (after all, every viewer has at least to send one PM) and the poster has more control about who will actually get to see something. The drawback is the greater effort, but this could maybe balanced by maintaining the pictures on a password protected websites etc. If the thread then does also get a subtle title so it doesn't give much ideas of the content in the overview..

Just my 2 cents.

While I like the idea of a sticky I think it would draw in the same type of people that a new forum would.

There are pic threads here already. Velvet Bubbles and Homburg come to mind. That's probably the best way to go and will keep the picture police away.

I'm actually a bit surprised that I haven't had a visit from the pic police yet.
