Second-hand knicker sale

BARGAIN-hunters will have the chance to bid at an auction with a difference tonight as a collection of used underwear goes on sale.

A backpacker hotel in Australia has amassed built up an impressive array of skimpy bras and knickers donated by travellers Down Under across the years.

The bizarre lingerie exhibition was displayed on the Queensland hotel's walls and became a massive tourist attraction.

They even had a special Bra Bar for underwear enthusiasts who enjoy examining the variety of chest supports over a pint.

The auction has been organised to mark the closure of the 94-year-old bush hotel, news.com.au reported.

Owners Mick Coles and Marilyn Arnett say money raised from the smalls sale and pizza-eating contest will go to local firefighters.

Mr Coles said most of the underwear was in good condition and ready to wear.
