Well would you?
I want to study to get my pilots licence & every time I ask this question to my family all they do is laugh.

Can I think about this one for a while? I really don't know you that well.

Though there is something to be said for the fact that I dont really know any of the pilots of planes I get on anyway. hhhhmmm I will be back.

If you were licensed I would. How many people meet their pilot anyway? Theyre laughing because youre female, and thats wrong. :( Be a pilot if you want to be a pilot.

considering all the hours one has to put in to get even their VFR (Visual Flight Rating, meaning you can fly when it's nice and clear out) license, all the practice, all the training, i'll gladly go. hell, my pappy's a pilot, so i'm quite used to flying. within a few hours of being born, i was already in the air on a plane.

'course, i know a thing or three about flying, so i wouldn't be all that nervous, though i'm a little nervous even when i'm flying with my dad, and he's slightly nervous, too. but just a tiny bit is actually a good thing for pilots to have. it keeps you on your toes.

oh, and don't be offended if i fall asleep. like most church services and sermons, planes make me sleepy, but in a soothing way rather than a borring way.

Probably not JB...I look at you and your pilots license like future generations will look at amusements parks on Mars.

I'll wait until a lot of people go and come back alive....then maybe I'll join you...

I used to work at Waitomo and I dived the caves for my Black Water divers certificate in 1988. For abseiling I prefer some of the bluffs by Rotorua or on Mt. Ruapehu.:D

sure i would. They are not going to give you your license if they dont think your capable.

my father got his three years back and i have flown in one of the little cesnas that you learn in

they are really good fun

it cost him about £4000 to get the sufficent air time under his belt

i understand it is cheaper in the states. how much are you expencted to be spending to gain your ppl
