My wife would probably be my ex-wife if I started sleeping around. Seeing old girlfriends is usually the start of something not so good. Too old to start over. I'm like an old dog, to lazy to learn new tricks.

Well, first it's secrecy and lying, second, it implies to the girlfriend that she's not satisfying him in bed, and why didn't he talk to her about that before seeing the prostitute? Third, if she's not enough on her own, then, again, he should talk to her about that, and fourth, he is exposing her to sexual diseases and if nothing else shows disrespect for her, that certainly does.

As for me, the ex-girlfriend thing is no never-mind as my husband sees all kinds of people all the time including ex-girlfriends. I never know till I see him for dinner who he's met up with or caught up with. An ex could be going through a crises with her kids, whatever. One never knows who is going to call and say, "Can you meet me for coffee? I need to talk to someone." So it's no big unless he's meeting her on a regular basis and keeps it from me.

The prostitute is problematic because it raises questions about what it says about him, his sexual needs, and what he is or is not getting from the relationship. It may seem like nothing to some men, but the secrecy of it, at least, makes it something.
