Would Republicans have handled any differently the Russia-Ukraine conflict?

Please don't use this thread to score 50 cents more on your "Trump bad versus Biden bad" paid poster pay slips. Thoughtful, no let-me-check-trigger-keywords comments, please.

International situations change from months to month, and all political parties are largely guided by what Pentagon & Intel etc. advise them.
But there are minor variations related to the leaders ideological stance or own economic interests.

Trump: what I think he did well, was not to alienate Erdogan when he invaded Syria to break down the Kurdish ppt amassing on the border. Can you imagine the consequences now, had NATO intervened against Turkey?
What he did bad, was to retract NATO's us backing.

One thing the Republicans would have done differently, if the previous president was still in office, would have been to send economic and military aid...to RUSSIA.

The Republicans wouldn't have been able to do much. So much initiative requires the administration to get moving and Trump's record was to ignore anything bad Putin was doing (including paying bounties on the scalps of American soldiers in Afghanistan.) Trump was/is an espionage asset of Vladimir Putin. He would have put he skids to most everything the United States could have done to counter Russia in its continued invasion of Ukraine.

And you can take a prohibition on bringing Trump into this and stick it you know where. Putin and Trump are joined at the balls.

One of Trump's impeachments was overstepping his power by trying to withhold $400M in military aid to the Ukraine while Russia was preparing to invade the Ukraine. Putin owns Trump and Trump owns the Republican party, hook, line, and sinker.

I have no doubt the usual suspects are convinced Trump would have gone over there and personally beaten Putin into submission.
