She had to leave the house...for a few days, her folks were ranting too much....they can get abusive...(she's over 18 so the law can't help her) I just want to try and send something positive to help "protect her"

If you feel like they might not like it, ask if they would mind. I sometimes make a small charm or talisman for them to carry. Something as simple as a small stone that you find and "charge" can make someone feel much better.

well i would ask but she's already off...

i've done that sorta too...just projecting some of my "good vibes" to them...seems to work...just hard to focus them on to one task....

It depends on your beliefs and what practice you follow. I am assuming you aren't Wiccan, because if you were you would know. If you follow a certain path or tradition where this would be wrong, then the answer is simple. It is wrong.

If you're just dabbling, you shouldn't "dabble" on others. Things can get fucked up if you don't know what you're doing.
