O.K., I'll admit this is completly off the subject of Chyoo, but in an effort to promote discussion(yes, and to gain an avatar) I saw that Blender magazine says "'We Built This City" by starship is the worst song ever.

What do you guys and gals think? I embarressed to say it but, I always kinda liked the tune. I mean, it's not like it's a great song, but it's upbeat in a chessey sorta way. Besides, everyone already know the worst song ever is "Hanging Tough" by The New Kids on the Block.

By the way, best song ever- "I Want to be Sedated" by The Ramones.

The worst song ever written is 4'33" by John Cage. For some reason, he thinks that recording four and a half minutes of silence makes him a musical fucking genius? Please.

The best song ever written is "Ode to Joy" by Ludwig von Beethoven.

The best modern song is "Forever Young" by Alphaville.

There are so many bad songs out there. I can't pick only one.

As for good songs, I tend to lean more towards hard rock and metal. If I had to pick a favourite... or best it would be...

Unforgiven II by Metallica.

I really enjoy it.

Incidentally, one of the best ways to increase your post numbers and reach the coveted Avatar is to review Literotica stories here in the Story Discussion Circle forum. It's useful, it's fun, and you can easily find 100 stories to post about.

That's a good idea. Thanks!

The best song ever written is "Ode to Joy" by Ludwig von Beethoven.
If you're talking old school,"Moonlight Sonata" is my favorite piece of Beethoven's work, and Verdi's "Requiem Mass" is my favorite overall. That song just makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up whenever I hear it.

Muskrat Love is a pretty crappy song. Not bad music, but the topic is a little strange to say the least.

:D

Ok I agree with most of your choices, but "Wildfire" by Michael Murphy?? That is a pretty good song. In fact my first serious girl friend and I had a little back seat action while that song was on...hmm maybe that's why I like it.
