Not sure if we have done this type of thread here, but here goes. Being Lit, we usually discuss the positive aspects of our sex lives. But, sometimes going over some of the bad experiences helps us appreciate what we have and the better moments of our sexual activities!

Do you have a (hopefully) past sex partner which brings to mind some really bad sex? It may not have culminated in full sexual intercourse. Maybe that person was such that you did not want to take it to that level!

This will be an interesting thread.

Mainly because for sex to be great it takes two people. For sex to suck it takes two people so I am curious to see how the blame is doled out here.

Sex with my ex husband was horrible, sad that it was my initiation into sex to be honest. He was my first although it was before we were married. I wish I would have known before hand what sex could be like. It was years of dry painful sex where he only cared about himself. The only thing he had going for him was going down. I sometimes wonder why sex with him was always so painful since he wasn't large by any means.

Yikes! If it was dry, was it due to him not getting you wet? Him not turning you on?

Yes.
I have, fortunately the bad sex partners have been few and far between. I remember I had a date with this woman and it was a good date, we gone to a movie after alight a light supper went back to my place opened bottle of wine, we drank and talked got accustomed to each other… than started making out she was a good kisser looked and all that but when we got our clothes off she didn't really want any foreplay.
She barely let me play with her breast; she would let me go down on her and was not about to go down on me. I was pretty sure they would not be a second or third date but as I've gone this far I was hoping that things would liven up. They did not. If she had not been wet I would've thought that she was frigid or simply didn't want to screw.
Oh she was tight enough but she just lay there like she was passed out or something if she had an orgasm I sure as hell didn't know about it I had the strongest urge to take her pulse to make sure her heart was still beating. She was still breathing I checked! No moaning, no groaning, no noise and no encouragement by movement… not by kind of fuck.

Maybe I just wasn’t doing it for her? I would rather she had said that she just did not want to!

He just didn't care as long as he got his, it was a really bad relationship. I could be crying in pain and he would still finish. Odd that now I love pain, just not that kind. He also would just hit wrong and send pain shooting through my pelvis. It was weird. I'm glad I don't have to go through that ever again. Sometimes I really feel bad for his current wife.

There are plenty of ways for sex to be ... less than good.

1. Wanting to enter me before I'm ready. What the hell am I supposed to do? My choices are to stop him and possibly ruin the moment, or let him go ahead and risk painful thrusting.

All he has to do is check and see if I'm wet first. Not rocket science.

2. Blaming me for not getting hard.

3. Blaming me for cumming too quick.

4. Blaming me for not getting him off.

5. Comparing me to some previous partner.

6. Leaping up to leave as soon as he cums. Jeez, that makes me feel real good.

7. Being too rough. Nothing worse than having your nipples or even your clit manhandled by some dude who saw it that way in a porn video and thinks that's what all women want.

8. Trying to talk me out of wearing a condom. Hey, I don't like 'em, either, but ...

9. Saying insulting or demeaning things.

10. Not paying attention. If I start moaning or whimpering, that means ... "keep doing that!"

Guess I should stop here. This list is a compilation from 30 years of being sexually active. They don't happen very often any more, but in those 30 years, they've all happened at least once.

The guy who shot his load in his pants after just a cursory crotch fondle was pretty lame.

It can take one person for sex to be terrible.

Had a one night stand one time when the girl insisted on me going slow, real slow. She said she just really didn't like it fast, it felt wrong to do it fast, sex should be slow and gentle. OK, I agree it can be like that at times but, this was a one nighter, not exactly a long term loving kind of thing you know? It was BORING. I've had really fun slow sex, but this was just slow and boring, and awkward.

In my experience, women have made sex a poor experience when they act like bottom shelf porn stars and don't shut up with the filth talk and "fuck me harder." I'm not anti-porn but it's so ubiquitous that a generation of American females think they need to act like Jenna Jameson once the clothes come off. That kind of sex can be fun but for the love of God...

Be that as it may, it's the man's responsibility to direct things in the bedroom (like with almost everything else), so if you as a man don't get what you want out of sex you're not doing your job. Women can be very flexible and eager to please. In general if a woman gives you problems or is incompatible you either take charge or walk away, simple as that. That's my two bitcoins.

I've never really had "bad sex". I've had a couple that were letdowns. They weren't bad...just not what they had hyped themselves up to be.
It doesn't take 2 to make bad sex. It takes one who either has no clue what to do or he doesn't try.

I just added #11 to my list ...

11. Men who say shit like this:

I've never had sex with one of them. I've met them, of course, but attitudes like that get laughed at and quickly crossed off my sexual possibilities list.

I had to give this some thought - I have had my share of bad sex over the years - but it really didn't swirl around one partner - it was more of circumstances kind of thing. To pick one partner I would have to say - I had a partner once who simply talked all the time, about whatever popped into her mind, regardless of what was going on. It was disconcerting and distracting.

While not bad per say I have to say that the exact same thing every time for a long time gets extremely boring.

Had this one girl who literally just starfished (layed on her back and spread her legs open) every time we messed around. She didn't like giving or receiving oral and she was pretty much emotionless during sex. Worst partner by far.

Now my wife, she's a different story ;)
