Yahoo!

Their front page is all monochrome, except for a black and blue banner in the middle of the page that says "September 11, 2001 — We Remember"

Of course, it wouldn't be so bad, except for when you search for something, it goes right back to a color page for the hits on your search, complete with pop-up ads.

Seen another not-that-great tribute? Post here to warn people.

Gee, for a news site you'd think they'd be able to get the death toll correct at least.

The smiley icons for "shop" and "messenger" are a bit uh. jarring.

I suppose my giant American flag made out of Jellie Bellies would be in bad taste then?

Depends. Are the red ones cherry or cinnamon?

I think it's remarkable that they changed their page at all. Yahoo! doesn't owe me anything.

Cinnamon.

If it's a blueberry/cinnamon/coconut combo then it's not tacky.

Blueberries represent the wholesomeness of our nation.
Cinnamon represents our fiery nature.
Coconut pays tribute to all the varying cultures that make our nation great.

Sillyman, there's ALWAYS justification for JellyBellies.

Between the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and all four flights, it does add up to over 3000.

Including citizens of 83 countries.

plus over 4000 innocent civilians in Afghanistan in the aftermath.

Everyone who has died deserves a thought today.

I used buttered popcorn for the white, cuz it's all I had.

Very, very true.

Depending on whose reports you believe. Not that I'm trying to denigrate your cause in any way. Obviously any innocent that dies is one too many, but 4000 may very well be an inflated number, used to justify a negative attitude taken toward an otherwise just war.

Indeed.
