Ok, who else is at that point? Body parts that are wearing out or just don't work right anymore? I'm trying to get thru harvest before having rotator cuff repair. Again. Why the hell didn't someone warn me I come from a family of defective backs, knees, shoulders, hearts, etc before I abused all of them? The old joke about "If I had known I'd live this long, I'd have taken better care of myself" doesn't seem as funny anymore.

Please add your pissed off attitude about your own parts that seem to be wearing out all too soon.

Mashing (while cycling) through my 20s has left my knees in bad shape in my 40s. As a result I ride less, and miss it. I just signed up for a two-century overnighter just to have an excuse to try some longer rides again.

My cock, sadly, still thinks it's 17. I am a grown man with the sexual control/desire of a bonobo. All things considered, I'd take better knees and a soggier libido.

I'm in pretty damn good shape for a guy who has lived this long.

Some shit still hurts, though.

Getting older isn't for pussies.

Convalescing from a full hip replacement as we speak. It's a pain in the ass, but I'm grateful there's a remedy. Bone on bone pain was aging me fast.

Bone on bone in my left knee, right just hurts.

Getting old is no fun and youth is wasted on the young.

I've blown both knees and hurt my back twice at work. I still run and stuff, but it is oh so painful.

I'd love to have my 18 year old body back.

My ankles, they're crap. Broken several times during basketball games and the scar tissue has made them weak, leading to failure at inopportune times. I miss my slim, reliable ankles.

I am so f'ing TIRED of being diabetic. And apparently now I'm starting to have blood pressure problems, might have to go on medication for them if the new exercise regime doesn't help.

Im young but I have a bum wrist and ankle from skateboarding as a teen. Forgot how bad my wrist was until I started playing bass...

My gallbladder tried to kill me. Which I think was really rude.

Definitely rude. If it had any manners at all, it would have asked your permission first with a series of polite email follow-ups.

I was wearing bifocals at 8 and had back problems at 13. I was practically born worn out. My back is better and my eyes stopped getting worse, so I can only assume that I'm like Benjamin Button and will continue to get younger, hotter, and more Brad-Pitt-looking with age.

I have always had to wear glasses and even had to do the eye patch thing as a kid. Since migraines kicked in hard at puberty, as medical treatment progresses I'm doing better and better overall.

I am no longer terrified of walking by someone wearing strong perfume. I don't like it any more than I used to, but it doesn't send me into a three-day long pain tour.

So yes, life for me is getting overall better, and next time I experience pain like my gallbladder, I'll go see a doctor sooner instead of thinking "I don't know what that it, but it'll probably go away if I ignore it or get the right diet. It's not as bad as a migraine so it can't be that serious."

It was.

Dear young ones,

Two or more things you need to know.

Moderation in all things.

Getting old SUCKS.

Personally if I knew I was going to live this long i would have taken better care of myself!

I was upset to learn last week that artificial ones typically wear out after 20 years.

Yeah, shop carefully. Some of them wear out a lot earlier, cause huge problems, and bypassed FDA approval. "Those over there, passed, let us in too!" *bribe*

lol...

Well they always claim a life expectancy on these things. I wouldn't worry about it.

20 years is a long time.

57 and really not a damned thing wrong with me..a little kink in my shoulder but its pretty minor

Are you guys having the prostrate checked? I never have. My brother keeps bugging me to go yearly.

I'm 53 and change.
