my av for the world cup
Fans Are Up For The Cups
An underwear firm has unveiled football's latest supporter - a specially-designed World Cup bra.
The garment for female soccer fans features football-shaped pads topped off with a trim to resemble a goal net.
And the bra, with a busty price-tag of £90, is available only in one colour: soccer-pitch green.
The makers are hoping more daring fans may even cheer on their teams in Korea and Japan wearing little else.
Included in the set is a pair of matching briefs, featuing an image of hands catching a ball.
'Quite encouraging'
Makers Triumph International are hoping to score a big success with the "Hat-Trick" underwear set, which is a limited edition of only 100 sets.
Triumph International spokesman Christian Thoma said: "We've got a right cup and a left cup. You can consider the right cup as Japan and the left cup is Korea, or the other way around."
More than 50 per cent of Japanese soccer fans are women, and Mr Thoma said: "I talked to a few of them and they said they wouldn't even be scared to wear this product openly during a soccer game, so it is quite encouraging."
