Anyone know off the top of their head an average word count for a lit page?

That's a mean of 3750 words per LIT page as submitted. Text spacing can lower that value. If your text contains many short paragraphs and thus many blank lines, you can go lower. I just now checked the first page of one of my stories which includes song verses and chatter. Word count with header was 3455. So I usually use 3500 as my word-per-page estimate.

Actually, after testing the first page of 100 multi-page stories, I came up with 3,767 words +/- about 400-450 words.

That's because the page breaks are ~~14 KB characters, not ~~3,767 words.

By either method, white space, as found in dialogue heavy stories has little effect. the two ascii characters (CR-LF) required for a blank line are a minuscule portion of the 14KB character count.

Than again, that's if you us a laptop or desktop computer and a browser to read them.

On the Android Lit App on a phone, you can change the font size, thus changing the number of words or characters per page. I usually get about 90 words per page on my phone.
