is it wrong to call myself a sub when I don't like pain? See I like loss of control but not pain. I was wondering if I'm actually not a sub since I don't like pain.

Painloving and submissiveness have got nothing to do with eachother.

Submission is all about pleasure not pain, it's just that some people gain pleasure from pain, but clearly you are not one of them. There is no contradiction between being submissive and only surrendering those things you wish to surrender, that's why people have limits. All you need to do to be someone's perfect submissive is to find a compatible dominant.

Masochism =/= submission. You can get masochists who aren't into D/s dynamics as much as you can get submissives who aren't into pain.

Not liking pain means you're not a masochist. It has nothing to do with being submissive or not.

Why did you post this in the personal ads?

This.

This thread seems like it would be better placed in BDSM Talk.

I'm a sub who's not into pain, Mairu. I can tolerate some and my PYL* enjoys pushing me, but my submission comes mostly in the form of worshipping, serving, and receiving degradation.

*PYL = Pick Your Label for tops, dominants, masters, Daddies, etc

pyl = pick your label for bottoms, submissives, babygirls, etc

If you like to be controlled your a sub. Being a sub does not mean you have to be beaten. Each sub is different as well as each Dom. You look for what you want sexy.

No I have no want to be your Dom you have one or more.
