With the new policy announcement and reading through the responses to it, I have come to realize that the Lit mods and owners don't want any images to show up on their pages (i.e., hotlinked or uploaded), regardless of how tasteful. I believed that I was following the intent of the image posting rules wrt not posting any genitals, explicit sex, illegal topics (underage, bestiality, etc.), or images with visible copyright/watermarks.

There is probably a lot more to this new policy than just the showing of pics with a little nudity or whether the images are in the realm of implicit public domain or not. However, I don't want to deal with the drama of it all; that's not why I'm here.

These will be my last image posts in this thread. My intention is to post the ones I have in my current queue and then stop. I will be doing the same, one a day, for all of the other threads I regularly post images to.

I appreciate all of the people who I have interacted with and who react to my posts on here. I'm not leaving Lit, I just won't be posting images anymore. That's what the mods and owners seem to want anyway.
