What I can tell you, is that as a woman/human being I constantly

Why don't you understand us? It's because your logic assumes things about us according to your programmed experience.

It's because you lump us all into one category.

You assume you know, because of your experience, and then when you realize you don't know, when you realize we won't stay in the box you put us in, you run, you lash out or you write threads about not understanding women.

It's not that you can't understand women, it's that you want the answer to be easy, humorous or handed to you on a silver platter.

Now, if you have something specific you'd like to know about. I have my perspective and I can tell you, but that doesn't mean the next woman is going to answer the same way.

I often think men don't understand women anymore than women understand men. Men seem to think at times we are such complicated creatures, when really not all us women are. And, for those of us that are more complicated than other's, it takes a unique man to take the time to understand us better.
Will the mystery of the sexes be solved? Probably not. But, a better understanding of each other is a good thing. I speculate it takes a great deal of not only persistence but most definitely patience to try and understand where the opposite sex is coming from. Some of us are an open book, while other's....well you have to reread the book several times over to understand them better.
Let us not forget, there's also some women that no matter what they say or do, will just piss you off and trigger emotions that you didn't even know you had.
Hell, what do I really know anyway. I can't seem to get through to certain men in my life. I think what debbiexxx wrote was perfect!
