Things just ain't what they used to be. It seems the traditional playground taunts of "slut" and "your mum's a whore" will be going the way of hopscotch and spinning tops, as schools begin cracking down on sexist swearwords. Yes, the NUT has drawn up a list of unsavoury phrases stating that, "words like these promote the attitude that females are lesser beings, and as lesser beings they can become the target of violence. We need to nip that attitude in the bud." Bloody political correctness gone mad, I tell you - soon they'll stop burning women for being witches and then we'll have no fun left at all.

Full article

Laura Barton, you slut.

Well, Ms Barton. No one on this forum seems interested in what you write.

Sadly. . .

Porn freaks.

I would have thought the NUT should be directing its efforts towards ensuring that politicians realise what a mess they have made of schools. Preventing violence in schools is more important than playground language.

How many of the pupils can spell 'hopscotch'?

The NUT stands for National Union of Twats. Not testicle.

No testicles on my "women" thread.

It's interesting. When trolls don't post on my thread, it's much quieter place here. Kind of nice place for a non-noise-holic like me.

Women talk too much.

Cantdog,

Duct Tape is the tool for oppresion. Slip Joint Pliers are just the tool of desperation.

Now you see the violence inherent in the system!

Help! I'm being oppressed!

canttroll and pliers are "her" desperate hoi polloi attempt to confuse the situation and steal credit for the writing "she" did not do.

Sad, really (in unfunny way).

Now, let me be. Reading Catch-22 is much interesting than spending my time reading crap troll write.

Marina Hyde rule!

Are those dog shows on TV a bit Nazis?

"Oh, she's a beautiful bitch!"

See, svet. You called the woman a slut, just like on the playground, and now cloudy tied up with ducttape and being tortured with slip-joint pliers. The point is obvious: That Laura Barton, the bitch is right...

Why the hell did they ever let us talk like that anyway?

[I don't think they did- I think it happened out of earshot. Not like we had one Resess Aid for every 12 kids  ]

I don't understand the outrage at puting a stop to bad behavior. Esp. by the so called 'conservatives.' Shouldn't they be crying out for more discipline and less wild freedom given to kids to say whatever they want?

I don't remeber anything about whores and sluts when i was in school. I remember 'fag' and 'faggot' was a favorite around the school yard. I remember Madonna came out w/ "Like a Virgin" in 5th grade and this girl went around asking everyone if they were a virgin. i remember wondering if that was supposed to be a good thing or a bad thing. Still to this day, I'm not sure of the answer.

I'm pretty sure if the recess aids had heard us using bad language, we would have been in trouble. I think we (even at that age) had more sence than to talk like that w/ adults nearby.

PS- what is a bitch? -- A woman who acts like a man. (or sometimes a man who acts like a woman)

what is a slut? -- A woman who acts like a man.

Q- why is it so important we all behave according to our reproductive organs?

UM... Where did you get these definitions? I've never heard either of them used before.

Neither have I.

Besides, you shouldn't be talking back to a troll.

Don't know about slip joint pliers but those recess aids sound positively cruel and unusual.
