Usually a tell tale sign is he has a suitcase on his bed and he's putting some clothes into it or sometimes...

I can tell a guy is packing when he's got a different gun. Glocks are bulky and hard to hide, depending.

But now that the kids are wearing their pants around their knees there is no easy place to hide a gun.
