Yep that is a line full of cheese.

Okay, what I am looking for is help with a female character development. I'm new to this whole erotica writing thing. I need help getting into the mind of a woman so I can understand what they really like to read. Ah Hell, getting into a woman's mind is a lot harder then it is to get onto her v... Anywho...

Is there a woman willing to chat about, dare I say it?! What a woman wants?

Yep, I'm turing in my man card to ask the question that all men fear...

Please be gentle, it's my first time.

Oh! I know what "hummm" means...

First contact - the female firewall
Second contact - don't touch me
Third contact - um, maybe you can touch me
Fourth contact - please touch me
Fifth contact - no, touch me there
Sixth contact - don't you dare touch me!
Seventh contact - what contact?!

Did I get it right?

exactly!

I do joke around a lot but I am serious when I say I could use the help and I would enjoy the conversation.

I'll try to be gentle....

Well, welcome to Lit and hope you enjoy your stay.

After you have 100 posts, show us your cock. I mean your hair locks.

Well, first of all, we don't all want the same thing in reading erotica. Some of us may want to read about romance, candle light, and bubble baths. Others may want to about getting tied up and having our asses spanked.

The only thing I think I could generalize is that we probably all prefer a well-written story, whatever our kinks. Mind your spelling and give the story some depth. The best way to do that is to write about what excites and interests you, rather than you trying to please everyone else.

Thanks for the feedback. Maybe I should move this conversation to a different thread.

My goal isn't to pick up on someone (wow, would that be nice) but to get a woman's view of how a specific character would view her situation -- dudes like me really suck at understanding how women think. Maybe that is the challenge. no?

(P.S. Great tagline.)

Ok, well it sounds like you already have a story idea then, and want to see it from a woman's point of view. You can pm me with the situation if you want, and I'll give you my opinion. But it will still be just mine. We don't ALL think alike ya know!

In a way, I think you can create your own answer. If you already have a specific character in mind, well.....what is she like? Is she submissive or dominant perhaps? Is she shy or friendly? Broken-hearted or an un-loving bitch? Develop your character fully and I'll bet you will be able to figure it out.

Which woman? I think we're probably all a bit different on that aspect. You might find the woman first, then ask her ...not ask some strangers. But then again,,,,,, ;=)

Valerie is the main character. She is controlling Elaine, forcing her to perform sex acts in attempt to trap a high powered executive, Richard.

Elaine is a dear friend to Richard. And is a pawn in the game.

Sample draft:

"Mr. Grayson, this is Valerie Rawlings. She is here to see you,” said Elaine from the back of the room, ignoring the debate that was taking place.

The two men looked over their shoulders to she who was interrupting their meeting. Both went wide eye looking Valerie up and down.

"Elaine, can't you see that I'm talking with my friends here?" said Richard in a polite but dismissive tone.

"I'm sorry sir, but the meeting with Ms Rawlings is much more important." said Elaine.

"Ms. Rawlings can make an appointment for another time.” Richard said to Elaine in a calm but stern and commanding voice.

"We will meet now,” said Valerie in an equally calm voice that countered Richard command.

"You can talk with Bryce and his partner about the new app they are building some other time" said Valerie with a coy smile. Valerie continued her educated guess at why the two men where acting arrogant, "They can tell you how it will compete directly against another one of your portfolio companies."

"What the hell are you talking about?" demanded Richard, losing a bit of his control.

Valerie simply folded her arms and looked towards the two men with a raised eyebrow.

"Mr. Grayson, it isn't like that,” Bryce said in a panic. He then went on to chatter about market trends and fickle customer expectations.

Valerie knew she had guessed correctly. She also knew Richard felt he had lost control of the situation. Clearly Richard didn't like it that an anonymous and beautiful woman had outsmarted him.

What I would like a woman who would be willing to try and think like the main character Valerie, and so that we can work out how val would behave in sticky situations.
