If you have, How did it make you feel, did you ultimately win ? Did you two fight like two stereotypical girly-girls (i.e. a catfight-scratching and hair pulling) or like "men" (punching and kicking). Although I have observed of late that “men” now days fight more like girls used to (allot of talking and pushing but no action) and women fight like macho-men (mean-spirited, rough and tumble, punches thrown and soccer-hooligan head bashings)! Lol Are you one tough mean bitch in a fight or little miss-may who fights like some gay (guy). I don’t know, I just pulled that expression outta my ass there, but you get the gist of what I wanna know, now let’s have some details ladies.

I find it even more puzzling (peculiar) that you equate strength & independence with violence. I find physical fighting between anyone a sign of mental weakness.

I have been in two fights with women (once in high school) and another several years ago (in my mid 20's). I did not provoke either fight. I was attacked out of jealousy, bitchiness whatever. I lost both fights, although the first one I managed to twist the girl's wrist as I was going down.

I've had violent fights with my sisters, but that was years ago.

The only fight I've been in was in third grade. I can't remember what brought it on, but we decided to meet after school on the street that we both walked home.

She had two older brothers, I had two older sisters. I only knew how to fight with my sisters and, at that age, it was more about throwing shit at each other than throwing punches.

I was scared shitless. For some idiotic reason, I said, "Fine, we get to wear our mittens if we want." As though somehow that would give me an edge.

She said, "Fine," mockingly.

I put on these huge, ridiculous, red wool mittens and held them up to my face like I had seen Rocky do in the first movie.

She swung, hitting me, somewhere, I really don't remember.

I cried. I told her she was mean. She laughed. I ran home.

I think we "made up" the next day.

Don't fuck with me folks, I'm a total badass.

I've seen some pretty brutal chick fights, seen some girls beat the hell out of guys, and i know some girls/women i would not want to get mad at me...

i work with a woman originally from South Boston, who i'm scared shitless of, i constantly try to be on her good side...her daughter, who is 14,and just happens to have a crush on yours truly, works with me as well, and she's another one i wouldnt wanna mess with. little Kerry would beat my ass from piller to post, all 90 pounds, 5'2 of her. Tough broads, those two.

I work with another from Dorchester, a tough suburb of Boston, who spent some time in jail...i half expect her to tell me to knuckle up sometime.

I'm secure enough to say that i would probably run the fuck away from any of these ladies if they came after me.

I have to agree with you. I believe that once it has gone to a physical fight, both sides have already lost. I just wrote that piece above to provoke a stronger response to this thread. Forgive me for manipulating you.

Hi metal_minx don't feel bored. I have been in a few. I just tried to win. I pretty much always lost but the bruises healed fine. So whatever works you know. But yeah if you reach the point of throwing down with someone generally you too have achieved the status of stupid bitch. (This goes for guys too). Sweet reason, mace and a telescoping japanese cop baton are your friends. Did I mention the gravity knife.

I have gotten in a fight with my girlfriend over something she had said to me I pushed her off my porch and she landed on her ass and then I punched her in the face and made her nose bleed. I've been beat up a couple times by another girl as a young teen. All I can say is in both cases I didn't back down to someone challenging me, the fights were short and the other girl bigger. How did I feel? Queasy.

I am thankful that I quickly learned to fight my battles with my wits.

Truthfully 99%of fights i have been in was a name calling "bring it on bitch type fight." but the only true kicking hitting (girlyish fight) was when i was in high school. ahhh the days of the perrocial education system. It was after gymclass in the moldy locker rooms. I can remember it pretty well just b/c i am reminded of it almost weekly by my dad (i think he is secretly proud of me, my brothers were all pussies) anyways, after class we were all dressed and crap, when out of nowhere this girl clocked my friend. turns out the other girl thought her boyfriend was trying to hook up with my friend. Well basicly i said "What the hell?" and she tried to hit me. i slapped her and then started to kick and hit her for all it was worth. i think the fight lasted about 30seconds when the gym teacher came and took us to the principals office. And just to make it worse my dad was the principal. i think we both got community service (after school janatorial work) plus i got grounded for a week....
