How does it not count as cheating if you're not caught? If one has sexual/romantic/emotional involvement behind their partner's back, that's what cheating is. If you kill someone in cold blood, it's still murder whether you're caught or not -- same difference. The result of an action doesn't change the event.

And, no, I've never cheated, period. I try to treat people the way they I want to be treated, couldn't handle hurting someone I cared about and couldn't live with the guilt myself. I wouldn't do it in retaliation either.

Cheating comes in many forms~ I have seen men and women cheat easily and think nothing of it- I have known others who were terrified their other half would find out. For me the answer is no~ I have never cheated on anyone I dated or when I was married. But then again cheating to me isn't just sexual, if you have spent time with someone- male or female- without mentioning it to me and hiding it from me on purpose, then you've cheated, sex doesn't need to happen to have cheated..spending time with someone else is cheating me out of time with you,something I could never do to someone I love.

Agreed. I'd even consider my partner not telling me or hiding their membership in a community like this one cheating to an extent. I'm just not a fan of lying or hiding, period.
