i agree totally, but to a more important part, I would like to see divorces made harder to get, or make getting marriage a little harder.

Let me spell it out for you- I'd want that prenup arrangement so that I could KEEP my own assets. Wouldn't want to lose in a divorce where I had to give up HALF! Of course, just not getting married in the first place solves that problem.

Did you ever think that if a woman who did not have a job could not receive alimony in the event of a divorce, she might be less inclined to leave an abusive marriage?
