It's been done, eh? I even wrote my own variant in. In this sort of tale, she or they are usually pre-pubescent; they're cast apart and go on many separate life adventures; decades later, they stumble upon each other, and marry, and live HEA, la la. In other variants they meet in high school or college with the same results.

What are some twists?

Her command of marriage, plus her overall demeanor tells him all he needs to know of her. As usual, his twin brother had dressed in a matching outfit and was waiting outside the crowded restaurant. The first brother excuses himself to the restroom to call his brother, and the second guy returns to the table to finish the date for his meek brother.

The other brother has the same type of "type A" personality as the girl, and now the first guy can sit back and smile as he watches the sparks fly. The couple at the table subtly fights for dominance, their passions start to rage as they work through the meal, skipping desert and walking the few short blocks to the brothers' apartment. The couple attacks each other as they walk in the door, and the first brother slips in silently as he watches the writhing couple in bed.

She tries to process everything before she can walk straight, and the second brother pulls her back down to the bed between him and his brother. He says as twins they share everything but their personality types. This almost always involves their girlfriends, and she is more than welcome to spend the night.
