After a long day the office Jamie needed to wind down, it was after all a friday. finding a seat near the back of the small bar she had come across on her way home she ordered a malibu and coke and waited for it to come. 2 minutes later she was sipping her drink watching the people move around her, arguments starting then stopping as it got physical and they were thrown out and all through this she kept being drawn back to a pair of piercing green eyes watching her every move from the other side of the room. she flashed him one of her winning smiles and he shot her one back. then he stood up and started to make his way towards her, moving silently like a panther towards its prey. he sat opposite her and smiled again

"this seat taken?"

he asked and jamie shook her head, stands of hair comming loose from behind her ears. she tucked them back into place nervously

"no go ahead. "

she replied

"you're a newbie arent ya? i would have noticed if you had been here before"

he said matter of factly and she looked down slightly and blushed while nodding her head

He had spotted her the moment she walked into the bar, he had a few drinks but was far from drunk. He had enough to feel relaxed and loose, they had made eye contact a few times and before he knew it he was sitting next to her.

John smiled at the woman as she blushed, looking up at the bartender he held up two fingers. "Vodka...no ice." he said as the bartender fixed the drinks in front of them. "By the way my name's John...whats a beautiful woman like yourself doing ehre alone?" he said moving a bit closer to her.
