It isn't my top fantasy, but it is one that I enjoy occasionally. Women look so full and ripe when they are pregnant. They are just budding with life as their breast fill and bellies start to swell, all of which can be very erotic visually.

I like and write pregnancy stories. I particularly like the science fiction/fantasy variety where the woman gets pregnant with alien eggs, or a child sired by a fantasy or animalistic creature like a centaur, or is like an insect queen in being continually multiply pregnant and laying eggs or having babies, or the person who gets pregnant is a hermaphrodite or a man, or the pregnancy is an incestuous one between a brother and a sister. Similarly the woman's lover should be aroused by her growth and the idea that she is making new life inside her.

IMO the best stories, even of regular pregnancies, are the ones where the woman finds her growing belly and breasts to be erotic and is excited by the idea of having babies. Mood swings, cravings, and fetishistic and phobic reactions from other characters often contribute humor to the story.

plot could be as simple as Mr Big Boss pays underling to claim to have fathered Big's gf's baby, avoiding that nasty divorce. Underling falls in love, as they have lots of good pregnant sex.

Despite having read lady chatterly's lover I'm not entirely sure what the appeal of a gardener would be. Maybe because I like brainy guys, not manual laborers.

Here's another appeal of pregnancy though - one thing I like is that getting pregnant is a big commitment for the woman - once she does she's stuck/trapped, and also gets progressively less mobile. I have a fear of commitment so I find it interesting to imagine what would make one feel attracted or safe enough to commit to such a big thing.

To me there is a huge difference in impregnation stories and pregnancy stories. I have no interest in the latter, but the former is fascinating to me. It seems that there is a element of control or submission (even if it is subtle) in impregnation stories that isn't in the pregnancy ones. It might be interesting if there was one with that in it... IMHO.

I would say I regard the anticipation of being pregnant as an essential part of the appeal of the impregnation story, and the impregnation scene as a key exciting part of the plot in a pregnancy story. I prefer stories with both but will still enjoy stories which have only one or the other.

I'm gonna go the other way with this angie. While the impregnation is sexy, and I agree there is a sense of submission in it which is very erotic in itself, I enjoy the being pregnant sotories much more.

Something very sexy about the extreme curviness and changes taking place in a pregnant lady's body. the whole sexual experience changes as she changes, and there's an erotic sense of urgency since there's only a limited time to enjoy the experience.

personally, i have heard too many gross pregnancy stories/facts to think of it as erotic.

i like the impregnation ones because of taboo- it is what most of us young single women are trying to avoid when we have sex. then conveniently for me, the story ends before swelling feet, morning sickness, inability to shave your legs, and all starts.

My two cents...

I'm pretty much into the pregancy stories (and last I checked I'm female). Granted I like it even better when there are vampires involved...But that's just me.

Believe me I know all the aspects of pregancy: in real life I'm the responsible party for telling my students the 'facts' to their questions at work. Considering I have never had children myself and my ability to be utterly frank with very embaressing facts for teens (let alone myself!) it's quite an undertaking.

Anyway I do agree that the impregnation is a part of the turn on. Those stories are pretty much able to keep my attention. In almost any vein: Incest, Erotic, Science Fiction, ect.

But there is a considerable amount of taboo that gets me very interested with a pregnant woman: and just touching her erotically because it is the last thought that you would have for a woman who is constantly touched un-erotically all in the public act of being pregnant.

I'm a woman - don't know which you were counting me as. I think that for both men and women, both impregnation and pregnancy tend to be romanticized by people who want to get pregnant/impregnate someone but are blocked by practical reasons: lack of money or cooperative partner, already have enough children, infertility. The only difference I have noticed between men and women is that men who have enjoyed their wife being pregnant become more inclined toward pregnancy erotica because of pleasant memories, while women who have been pregnant become less inclined towards pregnancy erotica because of 'been there, done that, wasn't a bed of roses' feelings.

So I would guess that men who like impregnation/pregnancy erotica are older and women who like it are younger.
