Here I am, at my parent's house, watching in horror as we climb up to 5 accumulated inches. The roads suck, and it's supposed to be in the teens and snowing all damn week.

If my party week is shot because of this, I'm going to be pissed! Just last week we had 50 degree temps and green grass.

*grrrr* STP!!!! I think we need to get together and smoke a little (or a lot - whatever) It's just that kinda day .....

Unfortunately, I'm mired in the picturesque town of Jackson  I won't be braving the roads in my lovely full-size van until I have some salt bags in the back for weight, and the plows/salt trucks have been out. That, and, the family shin-dig shall continue with a drunken bout of Trivial Pursuit as soon as the churchy ones in the family get home from Mass.

So, for now, I'll have to make do with a beer or seven:rolleyes:

Oh, my condolences on being trapped!:( That has to suck. Well, enjoy the beers, good luck at Trivial Pursuit, and hopefully you can get back into town before too long!

My shoulder to cry on.

You could exhaust youself shovelling and go to bed early?

Actually, I like that part of our Christmas festivities ... I just have several places I'd rather be at the moment.

if you have been very, very good....

Santa will bring you a Thiokol Snow-Cat.

If you havent been so good; maybe a snowmobile?

(dont wait til the last minute- let the insanity creep in over the entire year!)

Five inches of snow!!! That's all? Drive a few hours north into the UP and THEN COMPLAIN! I'm due to get up to a foot between now and noon tomorrow, and that doesn't count what's already fallen! At least I got to finally run my new snowblower. No more back-breaking, knee-twisting for me.

I'm not complaining, this is normal for us. Actually I had grass yesterday which is unheard of for this area at Xmas time.

LOL - I'll try my best! I'm a queen of useless trivia, but I've got some stiff competition in my older brother.

Actually, that sounds like an excellent idea! It seems like there are a lot of us in the area, it would be cool to meet everyone. If I get an invite, you can count me in! When's your birthday?

Ahem ... excuse me. I've now been up here for a few days now, and it has snowed every damn day since Christmas!

Celia,

Jax ALWAYS has the worst roads in the state. Cheap bastards pocket the state's funds.

Anyway, I hope you aren't cooped up forever. I'm in on the party whenever it's time!
