winter break ideas

any more winter break ideas

ok, guys, it's getting cold now, and i'd like to
find a cheap place to escape to. how about we
start sharing ideas about nice places to visit,
preferably with nice beach and hot sand (nude
beach nearby would be damn near ideal), and
cheap airfares, hotels, car rentals, etc.

if we pool our 'body' of knowledge, we'll all
be richer for it.

me, i love playa del carmen on the yucatan,
but i can't find airfare for less than $400 so
far.

Sorry, I'm out of practice looking for the cheap trips. Back in my college days, Daytona Beach was the one and only choice. Take a group of people, drive, and split the cost!

has anyone here been to playa del carmen,
mexico in the past three of four years?

i know there was lots of development going on
just north of town when i was last there.

i'm wondering if it has ruined the flavor of
the town.
