This may be in the wrong place but I really wanted to get opinions from the people on these boards. The idea of a book club (which Fury has taken and run with
) gave me the thought to start a wine club where we could write in and recommend (or pan) wines we have had. Not sure how may people are interested in this but I thought I would give it a try.
I'll start first:
Highly recommended:
Villa Maria Sauvignon Blanc. Marlborough, New Zealand 2004.
Very nice wine with good crispness. Dry. Moderately long finish. Grapefruit with other tropical fruits and some grassiness. Very good Value at $10-$12 a bottle. Good with cheeses and fish in sauces.
