That's why I bought a cedar house with aluminium joinery. Slap on some stain every few years. Leaves time for more fun and play then.

Got ribs on a slow cook in the crock pot.

Ya know, my little stalker, I was just this very moment wondering how mango salsa would work with pork chops in the crock pot. Odd you should mention that.

And to quote a semi-famous Louisianan, "who's your mamma, are you catholic and can you make a roux?"

My mom and dad are Catholic. Dad makes a great roux. I am not much of a summer gumbo guy (chicken- okra-tomato) preferring the good stuff at Christmas: shirmp, oysters, crab.......

Dad's gumbo (unlike so many commercial confections) has a rich texture- but soupy consistancy.

French bread... some of that....

Sleep well.
