In the graphic equalizer, what tab should I pull up or down to make the vocals in songs sound clearer? thanks.

It depends on the vocals, but the Human voice is generally "mid-range" so the middle range sliders should have the most effect. A soprano or tenor might require moving your adjustment to the right and a baritone of bass maight require adjustments to the left a tab or two -- but generally the middle four or five sliders should most affect vocals.

You just have to play with the settings to get the effect you want -- increase the center and decrease the outsides to increse the voice and or decrease the insturments over-powering the vocals.

Ahh.. so that's how it works, from left to right is from the lowest to the highest range of the music.. i've always been a little confused about the mechanics of it all, thanks a lot!

The skin I use for WMP has the actual frequencies listed under each slider in Hz. If you really want to get precise, you can find the frequencies of each musical note -- the only one I remember is 'A' (on the treble staff) =440HZ, (and I'm not positive that's the right note designation.)
