Which do you prefer when flying? Does it matter how long the flight?

Do you like to snag the exit row? Much roomier.

Have you ever had a kid puke on you?

Aisle. I am the worst flyer. I dont want to see where I am. I want access to get up and walk around...I want to be right there when that little drink cart comes by.

Aisle. I book my own flights just to make sure I get it, too. I don't trust our company's travel agency, they screw it up every time.

Never had a kid puke on me. I wouldn't let them get that close.

Which do you prefer when flying? Does it matter how long the flight? Doesn't really matter how long the flight is, but I do prefer the window seat, I like to occasionally look out the window and see a few sights now and then

Do you like to snag the exit row? Much roomier. No I really don't like having that exit there next to me, for some reason it makes me a bit uncomfortable...hehe

Have you ever had a kid puke on you? Oh god no! If that ever happened I'd probably puke right there with him........LOL

April does this have to do with the trip to the states you are getting ready to take? I hope you enjoy your stay here in this beautiful country. I love it here, well at least in this country, not necessarily in this state. Have fun:)

GOT to have tthe window seat. I love being up in the air. One of my main aims for this century is to get my full pilots licence for a light fixed wing aircraft :)

Love flying in helicopters too :D

I don't mind flying too much. The short flights I like. It's the ones across the Atlantic I despise. My ass hurts, my feet swell, I get so restless I can't stand it! Keep checking my watch. Are we there yet? LOL

I usually get the window seat so I have some place to rest my head when trying to sleep. The last time we flew, we got the exit row. Wow! What a difference that made. It was great. Almost comfortable.

Like I said, I don't mind flying. The takeoffs are cool. But landing scares me. So many things can go wrong. One flight I took, alone, the pilot bounced the plane a couple of times on landing. Quite scary. But it's always such a rush to get there in one piece. :) And so nice to know that someone is there to pick you up. Usually they're happy to see you, too. ;)

Although I dislike flying very much, I prefer to sit at a window seat. I really do enjoy looking out once the plane is gliding in the air, and it keeps me from having to say too much to anyone else (since I'm too nervous to hold intelligent conversation!).

Plus with my big self sitting in the aisle seat, I am forever getting bumped by cards and passengers, plus almost constantly getting up to let the others in and out of the row!:rose:

Yeah, I hate the drink cart too. Sometimes they get careless with it.

I never get enough time for my drink either. It seems like they finish passing them out, then they come right around to pick it back up. What is it? A race? Employee competition to see who can feed and water the passengers fastest? ;)

DEPENDS ON IF A LONG FLIGHT OR NOT

:p

i've been on a plane twice.
to vegas and from vegas

both ways I had the window seat
but home I had the entire 3 seats to me :) so technicly I had the aile

I don't mind sitting any where asile or window are fine with me.

The distance of the flight does matter ... some how flying to England has me a little agitated where as if I am flying within Texas I am cool as a cucumber. :)

No kids have yet puked on me , when they do I will let you guys know... :p

it really depends with me. for short distance i prefer the aisle seat, because I usually have to jump right up when we the reach the airport to catch my connection. i also like to be closer to the drinks trolley. :D

on long distance flights i prefer the window seat because i can use the window to rest my head - I'm a very bad sleeper on flights and looking out of the window or using it as a (very hard) pillow helps a bit.

at all times i try to get a seat in the emergency exit row - that's why I either precheck my flights online or go to airport earlier.

the worst experience i had was, apart from having to go into the brace position etc - a guy from india sitting next to me who (and please note that i am not racist or anything) had the worst body odeour you can imagine. it also didnt help that he farted during the whole 7h flight. nice.
i had a young girl puking in the row on the other side while we went through the near-emergency landing. if she sat straight by my side i would have puked as well, i swear.

i like flying. i love duty free shopping. :)

Halo :rose:

I've done a lot of flying, both nationally and internationally. No one has ever puked or farted on me. No one has ever done anything bad to me on a flight, actually. The worst has been one of my own kids falling asleep with a head (or fee) in my lap, and then i feel kinda stuck until various parts of me begin to fall asleep and i have to move both of us in self-defense.

If i'm flying over land by day, and if i can wrestle it away from my kids, i'll choose the window seat every single time. I'm two classes short of a BS in geology and taught geomorphology to middle school kids for years; i want to see what we're flying over, dammit!

Otherwise i don't give a flying fuck :)p) where i'm sitting. If i can't see out the window, i'll just read or nap, thanks. Well, if the demon children allow it, of course. And no, reading Hop On Pop, The Owl and the Pussycat, and The Tale of a Tadpole twenty-seven times each on a flight from San Francisco to Chicago to London to Zurich (because someone forgot to pack more than those three books for the little guy) does not count as any kinda quality reading time.

It's all the same to me, I love to fly, no matter which seat I'm in.

Length doesn't matter to me.

And NO kids puking on me lately, but my brother did when we went to Disney World in 1981.

aisle

I want to be able to leave me seat with out the "excuse me. pardon me.. I need to Potty!";)

The window please

Definatley the window.

I used to fly extensively and used my frequent flyer priveleges to upgrade to first class. Got in the habit and unless the flight is less that 2 hours, won't fly anyother way now.

I prefer the aisle when I want to sleep, and the window when I am trolling...

As for unruly or sick children, I have been truly blessed. I have only had one flight where the kid was a brat and the whole plane was united in staring down the Mother who was clearly out of control. No one wanted to hurt the child, we all wanted to bitch slap the Mom!

WINDOW!

Definitely window!

I always get stuck with an aisle seat though :(

I love to fly, and in fact I will be flying into Orlando on saturday evening.

Pray I get a window seat. Jetblue is random :(

Flying to London in April, and I have a window seat. Not by choice, that's just what they gave me. I could care less, I don't plan on opening my eyes till we land anyway. *shiver*..

I prefer that my aircraft have "never been broken" wings.;)

Stay away from Pan Kentucky Airways...their chief maintenence component is duct tape, and the hangars have lotsa cinder blocks inside. Also something a bit disconcerting about NASCAR stickers all over the vertical stabilizer:D

Window seat....I am fascinated by flying.

Wondering how hard I would be to spot in an airport?

What's wrong with duct tape? It's a time honored tradition of aircraft maintenance! Along with lots of safety wire. *snicker*

Not hard at all, I think.

Well if I am traveling, I prefer the window seat, but having flown airplanes, there is no better seat than the front left at the controls......the COCKPIT if you will( no pun intended);)
