The Realm of Windaria, situated along the Belron Coast along the Sea of Night, Windaria is one of the most prosperous Realms in the Thelasian Empire. The people, though happy have of course there shareof problems as dose anyone else.
The population of this Realm consists of mainly Humans, with a few Halflings running around. The Elves of htis land number few, more concentrated in the naighboring Realm of Sael.
Many years of peace this Realm has enjoyed, many years of prosperity in both family and finance. But something unforseen is approaching this Realm, somethig unforseen, something dark and forboding.....
The Dancing Dragon Tavern in the town of Shelfold was rather crowded this evening. Then again there wasa storm outside as the rain slashed away at the street and the tavern sign that was swinging violently in the wind.
But inside it was nice and dry and warm. "Can I get you something else?" The barkeep asked her.
Majorie Silverbow sat the bar. She was wearing a pair of dark brown breeches and a loose fitting light green shirt, the material of the shirt was almost transparent and if the light hit it just right you could se almost through it and catch a glimpse of her perfectly rounded breasts. Her hair which was almost black in color and tinged with light streeks of green fell over her pointed Elven ears and past her shoulders.
Her skin was tan and also had a slight tinge of green to it, this along with her hair told of her Wild Elf heritage. Her build was slim and athletic. Draped across her back was a light wool cloak, the color of an auburn leaf.
And yes, she was armed, only her weapons were not with her, they were up in her room safelylocked away by a special lock which required the special key of silver she wore around her neck.
Smiling to the barkeep she simply shook her head. She could not speak the Common Tongue all that well, but she was learning. To a Human she would seem almost like a child, but in reality she was at least twenty five in human years, and two hundred thirty five in Elven Years.
With a polite nod the barkeep held up one finger and placeda silver piece on the bar top. Majorie understood and produced a single silver piece and handed it to the barkeep as payment.
"You know.." The barkeep said with a thoughtful look."If you can perform youcan give the stage a try. Imight knock some of the rom cost for the night down for ya. What ya say?"
Majorie only caught a few of his words..words like stage, perform, like. Wioth a nod she hopped off her stool and made her way up onto the stage. Taking a lok around shebegan ot think. She oculd sing as well as tell stories, a Bard by nature but an equaly skilled fighter as well.
The tavern was bustling with noise and people moving about, but then something made them stop. There was now a sweet sounding innocent voice filing the tavern, weaving a song. Even though only maybe a few of the people present now could undetrstand it it was still enchanting none the less to everyone else. Majorie stood on the stage, singing. Her melodic voice weaving the song together as she sang about her homeland across the sea. Shewas putting all her emotion into it and as she sang, small swirls of different colors began to appear around her, moving together and swirling gently. This always happened to her when her heart was experiencing genuine joy, and it always did when she sang and made others happy.
